Marsus was born in 1998. So was his mission.

A colorful drawing of Marsus, a friendly Martian with a big smile, green skin, and kind eyes, standing in space with stars, a planet, and a flying saucer in the background. The text describes Marsus as the first Martian discovered in 1998, with a description of his curious and gentle nature.

Before he was a universe, a book series, or a brand... Marsus was a doodle.

It was 1998. Before SpaceX, before Wi-Fi, back when the internet screamed like a dying robot every time you tried to connect. A mom, a creative rebel, and a woman with very strong opinions about aliens, was running a small printing company when inspiration struck.

Mainly, she thought aliens were ugly.

So she did what creative rebels do best: she made her own...

A puppet of a green alien with red hair sitting in a small UFO prop, decorated with colorful lights, on stage during a concert or performance.
A woman and a mascot dressed as a Martian posing together at a fair or festival, with a sign in the background.

The drawing became an illustration, a book, a live show and a very famous green alien. But then life happened. Cancer arrived like a storm no one saw coming. She fought it with everything she had... and won. But the financial weight of two years of illness grounded her Marsus dream. The show stopped. The laughter faded.

Marsus returned to his planet.

And for decades, he waited. A small green spark of unfinished magic, tucked quietly into the background of her life.

“My mom's dream never faded...it was just waiting for its right time to shine.”

MEET THE CREATOR

SpaceX Builds the Rockets. JULIE Builds the Kids Who Will Fly Them.

Julie St-Louis is a lot of things. A stunt woman, storyteller, entrepreneur, and unapologetic space nerd.

But above everything else, she is on a mission. Not the kind that launches rockets. The kind that prepares the next generation to board them. Because the first humans to set foot on Mars are alive right now. Sitting in classrooms. Staring out windows. Thinking three galaxies ahead. Too often, they are told they think too much. That they are “a lot.”

Julie is here to tell them something different: Humanity’s future needs them!

She spent a decade as a professional stuntwoman in the film industry, where she learned how to capture attention, create emotion, and tell powerful stories in seconds. That instinct now lives in every page she writes.

With over fifteen years as an entrepreneur, she learned by doing, failing, and building again. The underdog-to-hero arc is not just Marsus’s story. It is hers too.

One evening, flying above her home, she watched a SpaceX Falcon 9 streak across the sky and disappear into orbit. It made her wonder:

When today’s pioneers are gone, who carries the mission forward?

The answer was already out there.
Seating in classrooms. Staring out windows.

So she built Marsus. A new story. A new universe. A platform to inspire the next generation of scientists, engineers, and space explorers. Two years in the making. Built from the ground up. For her, its much more than just a book series.

Its her life’s mission.

Julie is laying a brick in the foundation of a multi-planetary future.

And she is just getting started. 🚀

A woman with long dark hair, smiling, wearing a black blazer over a white top, against a plain light-colored background.

The future of humanity doesn't begin with a rocket. It begins with a kid who dares to believe the impossible is worth attempting."
